5th Oxford Tidal Energy Workshop (OTE 2016)

Venue: Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford

We are pleased to announce that the 5th Oxford Tidal Energy Workshop, OTE2016, will be held in Oxford on the 21st and 22nd of March, 2016. OTE2016 builds on four successful workshops to provide opportunities of scientists, engineers, and researchers to discuss technical issues in tidal stream power generation. Topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Device-scale problems (hydrodynamics, design, fluid-structure interactions, etc)
  • Array-scale problems (wake interaction, array optimisation, etc)
  • Basin-scale problems (resource assessment, environmental impact, etc)
  • Novel experimental, computational, and theoretical approaches for tidal energy research
