Principal Investigator:
JCT is Professor of Nanoscale Engineering in the Department of Engineering Science and Tutorial Fellow of Balliol College at Oxford. His research interests are centred on the complex thermo-mechanical and physico-chemical behaviour of hybrids, composites, and a wide range of nanostructured materials. JCT completed his PhD at Cambridge (Downing College, 2006) in the Department of Materials Science & Metallurgy, and stayed on as a Junior Research Fellow in Wolfson College (Cambridge, 2006-2010), and later as a Senior Research Associate before joining Oxford in September 2012. He was the Organiser and Chair of the Symposium on “Hybrid and Metal-Organic Framework Materials” in the Euromat-2011 and -2013 Conferences. Recently, he has co-organised the Euromat-2017 conference held in Thessaloniki, Greece and chaired the Symposium dedicated to “Hybrid and Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) Materials ”. |
