Ravinder Singh

Ravinder Singh graduated with a PhD and a MEng degree in electronic and communications engineering from the University of Sheffield, U.K. in 2016 and 2011, respectively. He held a post-doctoral research associate position at the University of Sheffield from 2015 until 2017, where he worked on the frequency agile radio (FARAD) EPSRC project. He is currently a post-doctoral research assistant at the University of Oxford for the wireless optical/radio Tbit/s communications (WORTECS) H2020 research project, where he is working on the design of optical front-end architectures for fibre-wireless-fibre (FWF) communication links. His research interests include PHY techniques for visible light and infrared communication systems, optics design for FWF links, hybrid RF/optical networks and software radio architectures.
